ABOUT
Laura is a Product Designer and Jeweler, having a Product Design Bachelor's Degree from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Her passion for art, history, fashion, storytelling, and creating comes from a very young age.
At the age of 17, she began a 5 year Product Design University Course which capacitates professionals to work on the development and production of consumer goods - such as clothing, jewelry, objects and utensils, household and urban furniture, appliances, vehicles, etc. - and capital goods, such as machinery and engines, among others.
Said course provided extensive and in-depth technical knowledge for all stages of production, from conceptualization to manufacturing stages of multiple design areas, addressing essential factors such as the understanding of the targeted consumer, budget, material selection, production viability, sustainability, etc.
At the age of 18, Laura began her journey into the jewelry world, joining the Jewellery Course at Criativitá School, in which she received training as a metalsmith, acquiring extensive and in-depth skills in manual jewelry making, focusing on fine jewelry. In the same year, she founded her Jewelry Brand, Laura Grisci Wearable Art.
Currently, at the age of 23, Laura possesses 5 years of jewelry design and production experience on the market. She works as a designer and metalsmith at her brand, creating jewelry using classical handmade metalsmithing techniques and wax carving, as well as industrial processes such as 3D printing. She is also open to collaborations with different brands, jewelry designer positions around the world, and various projects relating to jewelry and costume design.

Laura also has worked as a jewelry designer in a internship at the Brazilian Fine Jewelry brand Lica Vincenzi. There, she created full collections based on briefs, encompassing visual and market reasearch, alternative generation, technical sheets and 3D modeling. As a freelancer, Laura has created various collections and single models for Tatsat Jewels, as well as working with clients on several projects.
Her main objective is to design unique, out-of-the-box jewelry, focusing on designs that tell stories, are full of meanings, and accompany their users in their everyday life as part of self-expression.

Laura has always focused on expanding her knowledge and improving her skills and has participated in courses in different areas of design, such as the CGMA's Costume Concept Design course, with Phil Boutté, and the Costume Design for Performance course, from UAL Central Saint Martin’s, with costume designer Bettina John, to pursue a path in the film making industry, specifically focusing on costume design.
